We offer both criminal and civil pre-employment screening.

Criminal Pre-Employment Screening
Our national contingent of resources allows us to provide you a quick and accurate method of searching for criminal convictions. Our professional staff is trained not only to locate a conviction record; but to also obtain all the relevant facts such as dates, charges, dispositions, and sentences. We will also obtain certified copies of the court documents at your request. Both felony and misdemeanor convictions can be searched.

Criminal cases are categorized as felonies or misdemeanors. A general rule to distinguish these is that a felony is generally punishable by significant jail time, while a misdemeanor may only involve a fine or minimal jail sentence.

All of our criminal conviction searches are conducted in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Records may be searched back ten years, provided that the applicant meets the salary criteria of $75,000.00 annually. If the applicant earns less than that amount, a seven-year search may be conducted.

In order to obtain accurate retrieval of records, Corporate Screening requires that the following information be provided:

  • Full name, including middle initial and former names
  • Social Security Number
  • Current & former addresses within the past 7 years
  • Date of birth (if possible)

Civil Pre-Employment Screening
This search can be conducted at local, state, and federal jurisdictions. This search can give good insight into a person's financial well-being. Take, for instance, an individual who has been evicted from his or her apartment for not paying rent and several judgments were filed against him for failing to make payments on the brand new contemporary furniture he had purchased.

We will obtain all the pertinent details from the litigation and obtain certified copies with your authorization.
