Investigation and Surveillance Rates

  • Video Surveillance: $70.00 per hour
  • Surveillance Day Rate: $500.00 per day (8-10 Hours onsite surveillance)
  • Accident/Site Investigations: $70.00 per hour
  • Public Records Check: $70.00 per hour
  • Activity Check: $70.00 per hour

Savings

At H C Investigations, our rates are competitive, and we believe in transparency. Additionally, we DO NOT charge for:

  • Drive Time/travel from Houston office to surveillance location (within 100 miles of Houston)
  • Initial Video Copy (Additional Video Copies are $5.00 each)
  • Seven Years of Video Storage
  • Office Expenses
  • Phone Calls

Database searches (Criminal history, Civil records, Property searches, Asset searches, Social media searches) when surveillance is assigned

Direct Engagement

  • In Person Recorded: $80.00 per hour
  • Telephone Recorded: $80.00 per hour

Travel

Travel costs are billed based on actual expenses for out-of-town cases, with mileage charged at $0.53 per mile.

Locates

  • Level 1 Search - Fixed Rate: $125.00*
  • Used for Initial Locates
  • 85% Success Rate
  • Requires last known address
  • Level 2 Search - Fixed Rate: $225.00*
  • For more difficult to locate subjects
  • Includes additional database and telephone research
  • Level 3 Search - Average Rate: $500.00 and Up
  • For evasive subjects and "name only" locates
  • Also used for adoption and birth parent locates

*Some persons with common names, evasive behavior, or extremely active profiles may require an additional research fee of up to $75.00.
